Voices of Sudan: Real-Time Storytelling for the SAPA General Assembly 2024
The Sudanese American Public Affairs Association (SAPA) is a national organization dedicated to advocacy, awareness, and humanitarian support for Sudanese communities affected by ongoing conflict and displacement. Their annual General Assembly brings together community leaders, policymakers, activists, and supporters to mobilize resources, strengthen unity, and amplify the voices of those impacted by the humanitarian crisis. The 2024 assembly, held over three days in downtown Chicago, drew hundreds of attendees and Social Media Influencers, serving as a platform for dialogue, relief coordination, and collective action. At its core, the event was built around a shared mission: unity, hope, and meaningful change for Sudan.
RevenueValve was tasked with capturing the full scope and emotional impact of the three-day event — and transforming it into powerful, shareable content in real time. This was an all-hands-on-deck production, with videographers, photographers, drone operators, creative directors, and editors working simultaneously to film, produce, and deliver commercial-quality videos the same day. Our goal was not only to document the event, but to extend its reach beyond the venue, allowing supporters, donors, and the broader community to experience the movement as it unfolded.
Creative Direction
Our creative approach was built around storytelling at scale — visually connecting the global perspective to the human experience. Drone footage opened the narrative by taking viewers through the skyline of Chicago, establishing the scale and significance of the gathering, before bringing them into the heart of the assembly where real voices, stories, and moments of connection lived.
Impact & Purpose
This project positioned the SAPA General Assembly not just as an event, but as a movement. By delivering high-quality video and photo content live throughout the three days, RevenueValve helped amplify the message of unity and hope while increasing engagement across social and digital channels. The content now serves as an ongoing advocacy and awareness asset — extending the life and impact of the assembly far beyond Chicago.

Production That Extends Impact
For the SAPA General Assembly, RevenueValve executed a full-scale, real-time event production strategy designed to capture momentum and amplify it beyond the venue. Our team deployed videographers, photographers, drone operators, creative directors, and editors working simultaneously to film, produce, and deliver polished content throughout the three-day event. By editing and releasing high-quality visuals the same day, we helped SAPA engage their audience in the moment, increase social reach, and turn live energy into ongoing awareness and support. This project reflects RevenueValve’s approach to event production — not just documenting what happens, but transforming live experiences into powerful content that drives visibility, engagement, and long-term value.

High-Speed Production at Scale
The SAPA General Assembly required more than creative vision — it demanded speed, coordination, and execution at scale. RevenueValve built a production system capable of capturing multiple sessions, speakers, and moments simultaneously while moving footage through a rapid post-production workflow. Our team operated in synchronized shifts across three days, ensuring content was captured, processed, and ready for release within hours, not weeks. This operational approach reflects RevenueValve’s ability to deliver high-volume, high-quality content under tight timelines — a critical advantage for organizations that need to maximize visibility while attention is at its peak.
